Kamryn's cake

My nephew loves to wake surf. So, I thought it would be appropriate to do a cake with him wake surfing. I used photos of their actual boat, and got it pretty close. I included everyone in the family, which was really fun to do. And Kamryn loved that he had his own "action figure".

Extra's

Here are some cake balls, and cheesecake balls. Easy to do, but time consuming, but DELICIOUS!!!! We love these. especially the cheesecake balls. Mmmmmmmmm

Brynli's 6th birthday

She was pretty excited about this cake. I let her sit with me and pick it out. She loved the style of the number on the cake. But it had the number 16 on it. She was devastated. I told her we could change that, all was good again.
I didn't realize when I was taking the picture, that I had the back side of the cake. Thus, the 6 is backwards.

On a "Roll" now.

I made this for a friend of mine, who was turning 60. This was a fun cake to make and more fun to deliver. The reaction from the family that was there at the party, was fantastic!! I love making cakes!

Matthew's tractor cake

I had two cakes to make this particular weekend. I wasn't able to put in as much detail as I wanted. But I think it still looks pretty cute. And my little Matthew LOVED it.
In the second picture you can see that the tractor is pushing another cake. It happened to my birthday that weekend as well. My dear sweet husband, all by himself, made that cake. The bottom layer has a chocolate fondant, made from scratch, made from my husband. What a man!! He did an awesome job.

Ben's cake

My sister called asking if I could do a cake for one of her awards night for the scouts. It was to go along with the million dollar prize. So, instead of doing a simple dollar sign, we did a pot of gold. They ended up not being able to use the cake, but my nephew's birthday was that same weekend, it then became a cake for Ben. The first time I've been able to decorate a cake for the Rust family. Hope they enjoyed it!
